Autism Resource Centre
The Autism Resource Centre (ARC) is a non-profit organization that aims to meet the evolving needs of young people with autism. It is our goal to help empower those on the autism spectrum so they can realize their potential, achieve independence and fully engage with their community.
Quest Theatre
Quest Theatre creates intelligent and whimsical theatre adventures that encourage young people to explore who they are, discover what is important, and build the kind of world they want to live in. We offer touring productions and opportunities for young people to create their own theatre during drama camps and school residencies.
The Doorway
The Doorway is a direct community response to young people on the street in Calgary choosing to rejoin society. There are significant gaps in what systems say they want to do to help these young people, and what they actually accomplish. In the late 80’s The Doorway was designed to address these gaps. An understanding of the differences between street culture and mainstream culture led to the development of a self-determined strategic planning process to make lasting change.
Ottawa Food Bank
After the May 2022 storm, the Ottawa Food Bank has done a call-out for donations. People without power (including the food banks) have had to put a lot of food to waste. It’s always a good time to donate, but especially now.
Canadian Red Cross – Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal
Money raised will enable the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to respond to humanitarian needs generated by almost eight years of conflict, as well as preparedness and response efforts due to heightened tensions in Ukraine. The support could include preparedness, immediate and ongoing relief efforts, long-term recovery, resiliency, and other critical humanitarian activities as needs arise, both in Ukraine and surrounding countries, including supporting populations displaced.
St. Margaret’s Bay Food Bank
The St. Margaret’s Bay Food Bank was started 20 years ago by Milton Hubley, from Seabright, with assistance from St. Margaret’s Bay Lions Club.

Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary
Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary is a non-profit society whose purpose is to provide rescue and protection for parrots. Through their adoption program, they strive to place parrots in new loving homes. They provide education and support to parrot guardians and the general public. They oppose the breeding and selling of parrots through pet stores, bird marts and via the internet.
